To lead in lifesaving certification and training, promote a new lifesavers culture in the Dominican Republic, and motivate the young to embrace and cherish our ocean through water sports.
SALVANDO VIDAS
Training YOUNG Lifeguards and Swim INSTRUCTORS in Samaná, Punta Cana AND Cabarete, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
This important new project will benefit young Dominicans through training in lifeguarding and swimming in Samaná and the eastern and northern coasts of the island.
The German Embassy in Santo Domingo and Happy Dolphins Foundation of Cabarete have created a strategic collaboration with a mission of creating safer destinations and at the same time elevating coastal communities in three important tourist centers. The initiative, called Saving Lives - Training of Youth as Lifeguards and Swimming Coaches in Samaná, Punta Cana and Sosua|Cabarete, also aims to create new sources of quality work in the field of tourism.
By training 70 young people in lifeguarding and swimming, the goal is to reduce the number of aquatic accidents and drownings.

Happy Dolphins is committed to train and certify Dominican youth in swim instruction, water safety and first aid|CPR on an international level. Our certificates are valid for the USA and the Dominican Republic and we uphold the highest standards of education and practice.
